I can't wait any longer...

I want a puppy now! My daughter keeps asking me for one and today my sister saids me a picture of HER new puppy! My two sisters are 21 & 19 and they got a puppy before my family did! How is that fair?

I asked DH if we could go up and get one this weekend for Mothers Day! He said "NO! We have too much to do around here right now to be worrying about a puppy! Your going to have to wait until August!"

Well guess what! I don't want to freaking wait until August.  I told him he's going to be SOL when I show up one day with a puppy! haha!

    I've been going through the puppy need too!  We watched Marley & Me this weekend (the m/c scene SUCKED) and we just kept talking about how much we want a puppy!  But we have our wedding in 7 weeks so we won't get one until after we get married.

    Several of my friends who were TTC and were having difficultiies decided to get a puppy and not long after they got their BFP. 

    From miscarriages, a diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus, and fibroid removal surgery...It's been quite the journey but it was all well worth it. Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I watched Marley and Me too! It was SO sad! But...It made me want a puppy so bad...it's worse because I want a Golden Retriever! haha!

    Wow. You should really think this through more. Dogs can be a lot of work and you shouldn't jump into this decision. Plus, it should be a decision you and your DH make together. Good luck!

    Maybe try to compromise with dh to get one sooner? Spring/Summer is the best time for a new puppy because of house training....

    Puppies are so much fun but so much work.  Really think it through, make sure you AND dh are committed to putting forth the work required to train a puppy.
