Measuring up.

At my appt today I was measuring 3 weeks ahead and the OB estimated her weight at around 3 lbs already. That seems HUGE! I've been right on track up until this appt, DR. wants to see me in 2 weeks to see if she if she is leveling off thought she said it is nothing to be concerned about. Anyone else measuring off?

    this one chick i know measured 3 1/2 weeks ahead at one 16 weeks. at 20 and 24 weeks she measured 1 week ahead. no biggie, just a growth spurt.

    My LO measured two weeks ahead at the 18 week ultrasound, and they said pretty much the same thing to me as well. They are checking again at my next appointment in about a week just to make sure that he is back on track again.

    It seems as if a lot of people find that their LO measures ahead or behind at some point. Don't worry!

    My little guy has measured 4 days ahead at my last three appointments.  But they won't change my due date unless there's a 7 day difference.

    I just went in Friday and measured 4 days ahead.  But likewise to a pp, they won't change the date unless it is 7+ day difference.

    I've been measuring between 4-5 weeks ahead since my ultrasound at 17w.  I had one at 20w and was still 4-5 weeks ahead.  I have another in 2 weeks and hopefully LO will level out by then.  I keep having visions of birthing a 12 pound baby.

    It could also be that your ovulation date was different than they expected. I know that I was on BCP when I conceived Max, and so my periods were off... I really believe that I am farther along than they say, because they keep going by my last period, which was irregular at best. Just a thought.

    I was measuring a week ahead at 12 weeks, which I thought was mildly concerning.   Doc wasn't worried.   I'm curious to see where we are at the next u/s.
