Anyone have a stroller they love? Right now I'm looking at the Babyjogger city mini, but I'm not completely sold. I would love to hear some experienced moms' advice. Thanks!
What kind of stroller are you leaning towards? ?A travel system that you can use with an infant? ?Or maybe you'll use a snap-n-go and then get a stroller that you can use with an older baby? ?Or do you want a jogger?
Do you live in the city or the 'burbs? ?(I'm asking because city sidewalks need real tires - in my opinion. ?But if your'e just going to the mall you can get any kind of tires.)
I bought the snap and go for infant. I want something sturdy but not huge like the travel system. Probably not a jogger but something that can go for walks easily.
I live in the suburbs for now...but being a military family I never really know where I'll end up!
We also had the snap and go, and a Bob Revolution for walking. It's pretty heavy, though, so we rarely put it in the car. It stays in the garage for walks, and we kept the snap and go (or, now, Maclaren) in the car. Anyway, I love our Bob and it was around $350.
We have a Dreamer Design Jogging Stroller ( great on bumpy roads, comfy for DS on long walks, which we take a lot of -It's fine but kind of big. I don't think they even sell them anymore.)
a Chicco Travel System (we keep this at my parents, it's fine on the roads in their neighborhood, and we used it when he was in the infant seat. The snap and go is fine instead of this as long as you won't ever need a spare stroller after he's out of the infant seat.)
and a Maclaren Quest umbrella stroller. (for crowded places, the mall, stores, we keep it in the trunk.)
If I could have a do-over, instead of the Dreamer Design, I'd get this:
We LOVE the BOB Revolution, and I am already scheming to find a double for later (currently TTC) and I think I may have found one at a thrift store. I fell in love with it when walking with my friend and her little girl, my friend insisted that I push it to get a feel for it.
I have the Bumbleride Flyer that I love. The handle turns so that when DS was a baby she was facing me and now that she?s older and sitting she?s facing forward.Unlike the Peg-Perego that did the same thing the wheels turn and work easily which ever direction the stroller is in.
I love my Kolcraft Contours Options four-wheeler. Great ride, easy to steer, huge basket, goes easily for sidewalk or neighborhood trail walks and even jogs (I'm not a fast runner so it's fine for me). And the seat is reversible, so DD can face me or face front.?
It was about $160 from Amazon.com. It weighs about as much as a BOB, and I don't have a problem getting it in/out of the back of my car to use for shopping trips, etc. ?
Re: recs for strollers under $400

A friend has it and it's awesome!
Others that I have seen that I like are the BOB, Baby Jogger, or the Tike Tech.
