Re: Kinda getting worried........

  • You don't begin to truly count kicks until 28 weeks... up until then, everything is pretty random.
  • Loading the player...
  • Babies have lazy days, it's normal and movement will get constant once you are futher along.

  • Sometimes they move, sometimes they don't.  Give it a few days before freaking out, it's normal behaviour at 20 weeks.

  • You're still early for it to be consistent.  There's still enough room and LO is still small enough they it just may be positioned different.  Movement won't be consistent until later on (my Dr has told me between 24-28 weeks).  No worries!

  • That happens sometimes because of the position baby is in.  Don't worry...you don't start kick counting until third tri...You can either lay on your back or your tummy to try to see if you can feel it in those positions...Your little girl is just fine :)
  • Even now my baby has his lazy days.  I always feel him early in the morning and at bed time.  Some days he is active all day, and others he just hangs out and I don't feel much from him.

  • From 22-23.5 weeks I hardly felt anything (after feeling a TON before that)......baby could have moved to a different position, been really tired (I had done a LOT of work around the house that week), going through a growth spurt, etc.     At 21 weeks when my dr. asked if I'd felt any movement, he said only 1/2 of women feel it by then.
  • I've had that happen.  One day the baby will be active all day, the next he will be very quiet.  I don't think you have anything to be concerned with!
  • Lazy days for baby are to be expected.  When you're further along you'll feel movement more regularly.

  • Like before its probably just taking some time off being lazy. Wait it out a day or so but your intuition is right sometimes and if it just doesn't feel right call your Dr.

  • You are still early in your preg. I felt mine off and on starting at 18 weeks. It wasn't until this past week (23 weeks) that I really started to feel him regularly. I wouldn't worry, but if you are just call your doc and see if you can come in real quick to hear the heartbeat.

  • Thanks Everyone!! I just waited.......told myself if I didn't feel her by tomarrow I would go hear the heart beat (I have to pick up my OB records anyway)...  but she moved tonight and kicked a few times!!
