...the carseat around to forward facing? How old was your LO and what made you decide it was time?
I'm well aware of the risks of forward vs. backward....I'm just curious who has gone ahead and done it, when, and what made them decide it was time. TIA- : )

My IF blog
We turned her after her 1st b-day. Even though she doesn?t weight a lot, she?s tall and her feet were touching the back seat and I didn?t like that. She also hated being in the RF car seat. Now that she?s in the FF one she loves being in the car and I can finally after more than a year sit in the front with my DH or drive on my own without being a nervous wreck because she?s going nuts.
i turned him at one year (22.9lbs and 31")
my husband is 6'8 and he cant fit in our suv with him rear facing. i couldve put him rf behind my seat but i figured he was safer ff in the center seat
We are just going to turn DS FF this weekend and only because we have to since he reached the height limit for rear facing. My plan was to keep him rear facing until 18 months (as long as he didn't exceed the limits), but he had a growth spurt recently and grew 3 inches over the past few months.
My recommendation would be to keep your LO rear facing as long as she is within the height/weight limit for rear facing..
