Honestly. It's like trying to put out a fire with gasoline. Clearly there were unnecessary bans, some of them probably legit. Yet, what are the mods hoping to achieve by this?
Drive away people who come to the Bump = loss of money for the Bump.
I'm at a loss, and I'm not just saying that because I think the banning is ridiculous. I'm at a loss because it's is a simple power trip by biased moderators and Bump employees. Do I need to be concerned that I'll get banned for this post?
Re: What do the mods hope to achieve by all of this?
And booze. Don't forget the booze.
The reason Jelli got perma-banned was because she shared the communication between her and the Bump discussing why she was temporarily banned days prior. Apparently the TOS have enough loop holes for them to ban for any reason they deem worthy. Understandable, but ever since this incident there have been targeted bans to other certain people.
My point is that even when people get banned, yes, they come back in the form of other AE's. You would think moderators would know this.....and find a different solution. Who knows. I'm just another Bumpie who doesn't understand it all.
