2nd Trimester

It feels like high school in here.

Someone doesn't like that they aren't part of the popular crowd so they're playing stupid pranks on the cheerleaders from behind the bleachers.  THAT is what THIS feels like.  Good gosh.  Annoying.

  • Perfect metaphor.
  • Actually, I know some high schoolers that are more mature than this.

  • what did they think was going to happen when they continue to mock the administrators?

you ask and you shall receive.

  • Can we stage a giant high school protest a la 90210, "Donna Martin Graduates!"

It's not that.  It's that a specific "clique" is being banned.  It's obvious there's a small vendetta against them.  BLATANTLY obvious, actually.

  • to follow the adolescent metaphors, it's the bump's playground, they can kick out anyone they want to.  no one has any right to use this service, i don't see why this is so hard to understand.
  • Ugh. Thus why I graduated High School 2 years early.

It is my understanding that they would probably LIKE for us to use this "service" as they would be out of business if we didn't.  And actually, if they make a PUBLIC message board - then yes - all of the interwebz have the right to use it as it is PUBLIC.  No one is arguing that rules were broken.  People are arguing because rules are being broken non-stop by people on here left and right...and only one specific group of people is being banned.  Comprehende?

a little thicker skin on part of the admins, for one thing; a sense of humor for a second.

trust me, speaking from other non-pregnancy related message boards, admins & mods on power trips wind up losing in the end.  people just go elsewhere to discuss what they want to discuss.

it's totally within the admins & mods "rights," i guess, to act like spoiled brats, but when you no longer have anyone to moderate, it kind of defeats the purpose.  i dare say the bump would like to maintain their audience.
