Okay so I haven't felt the baby kick yet or anything. I'm not complaining, I know it will take longer for me because I have an anterior placenta. No biggie. BUT when I do start to feel the baby kicking, I'm really nervous that I'm never going to sleep again.
I'm suuuch a light sleeper that when my DH turns over in bed, I wake up. It usually takes me 30 minutes to fall asleep and with LO kicking, I'm not sure I'll ever get to sleep.
Anyone else a light sleeper and is actually going through the kicking??
Re: Light Sleeper
I'm a very light sleeper and I don't remember being woken up by DD kicking me (she was super active in the womb.. still is
.
The major "problem" with being a light sleeper comes when they start STTN.. but still make little tiny noises. I wake up at every little sound DD makes in her sleep (cough, sigh, whatever) even though we don't use a monitor and her door is shut! It's such a PITA because it takes me forever to fall back asleep. DH on the other hand, sleeps through it all! I guess as moms, many of us are so in-tune to DC that it's like that. .and us light sleepers suffer even more for it
