Are there non-convertible cribs out there?

Hi,

I know convertible cribs are the rage right now but I'd like one that doesn't convert into a toddler bed, full side bed, etc. Is that what they only sell out there now? I'd like something stationary. I know I don't have to buy the additional parts to convert a crib. Anyone  have a non-convertible crib out there. Nothing against them. I'd just like to keep my options open :)

I'd also ask for something with a drop side but I read that BRU are slowly phasing those out according to the babybargains.com blog.

TIA!

  • Stanley makes some non-convertible cribs, as does Munire. They are definitely still around, you just have to look a little harder.

  • I am looking into the Rockland Antique Renew Standard crib from Penney's. It is on sale now for $189 or so. I just wish I could find a free shipping code.

  • They definitely have them- Do you have a USA baby near you? They have a large selection and while most were convertible, they had non-convertible ones too. Like pp said, Munire makes regular cribs too in some of their styles- if you look on their website and download the pdfs/brochures for the different styles it will show the different crib styles.?

    Also Ikea.?

    GL!?

  • we got one at Wal-mart that is dropside, by Graco. Also it does not convert.
  • We just ordered a non-convertible crib from Bonavita.  They are phasing out their dropsides though, but if you have a store that stocks them, they may still have some.
