NTR: Where did you get your bathing suit?

I'm looking everywhere online and I can't find one that I like. The one I bought last year doesn't fit because I bought it right after having DD, so my body was so different then.  All my pre-baby suits are bikinis and I'm not comfortable with showing my stretch marks to the world so I need a tankini. Any recs for a fairly low priced, but good quality swimsuit?  I know I should get out and try some on but trying stuff on with DD is such a hassle. TIA

  • I second the Target suggestion.
  • I've always had good luck w/ Macy's. With sales and coupons the prices aren't too bad.

Thanks. I haven't checked Target online or Macy's yet.

I saw a few cute ones in the store at Target but I didn't get the chance to really look at them because DD was being a little grouchy.

  • Have you checked out Landsend.com?  I think they have super cute styles and prints that are also very "forgiving".  :)

I'm checking Landsend right now. They have quite a selection.  DO they have a good return policy in case I get a suit and it doesn't fit right?

  • I just bought one off ruelala.com

    It was originally $180 i got it for $60.  It's a gottex.

  • Sears carries lots of Land's End suits, so that could at least give you an idea of what styles look best. For stuff like that, I turn Adam over to DH for a few hours at night or on a weekend. I can't try on anything with Adam along, so DH earns his keep while I shop all by myself.

Yes, they have a great return policy. :)

  • victoria's secret.  i got three for a recent vacation and they all worked really well. 2 tankinis and a one-piece.
  • Amazingly enough, I got a really cute suit at Target.  They have a pretty large selection of tankinis, and you're able to mix and match sizes for tops and bottoms.

  • I know on Friday in store Lands End suits were on sale.  30% off.  If you have one near you it might be worth a call to see if they are still on sale.  I bought two.  I need to return one, maybe.

  • I use to swim so mine is a TYR from the sports store.  A secret though, if you get a real swim suit that just barely fits it will hold in the post-baby belly.  By barely fits, I mean it's tight.  They loosen in the water, but still hold in the belly.  For $60 I was all over that.  :)
