I hated her. She had a horrible bedside manner, completely dismissed everything my ob/gyn said, suggested that I have gastric bypass and then gave me scripts for things that "I'll probably need." I also have this giant list of blood work that I'll need to have done this week. I didn't get to ask her any of the questions that I had about TTC, partly because she kept interrupting me and partly because she had me so upset. She may be a brilliant doctor (my PCP highly recommended her) but I can't leave a doctor's office in tears all the time, either. (At least, not in tears over the way I was treated). So now I get to have blood tests and won't know for at least a month whether I have PCOS or not. (Which, by the way, you can apparently cure by losing weight. Dr. McNasty said she had a patient cure herself by doing so.) If I do have it, I am so getting a new endo, most likely an actual reproductive endo. It's been two days and I'm still upset. We haven't told anyone about it yet, so you ladies are the only ones I can tell. (Well, my mom knows about the PCOS, but not about the TTC part).
Re: Saw the endo on Friday
Ditto the pp. Definitely find a new doc. Doesn't matter how highly recommended they are, if they're anasshole and you are that upset (rightfully so.)
I'm sorry.
Ugh, I agree with pp, it doesn't matter how recommended they are if they are biitches.
Hey Kristen.......just wanted to say that I love Dr. Kubick at RHS in Penn Hills. Everyone there is awesome.
Good luck to you!
