Life is precious, make every day count

So one of my good friends lost his best friend last week.  He fell from a balcony after he lost his balance. He wasnt drunk, wasnt acting stupid.  Just completely lost his balance while stretching.  Life is SO short.  I know I take it for granted and I should focus more on the positives in my life instead of the stresses.  He leaves behind children and a wife.  Please say your prayers for them. :(

    Oh my, what a tragic, simple accident. So sad. I'm sorry for your friends and his family. Prayers to them.

    I think about it all the time.  Then i get aggravated with myself if I'm mean to my DH or if I dont make the time I need to for him.  I'm so consumed by work and Carter.  We have a trip coming up in July so i'm looking foward to that.

    A man in my mom's neighborhood just died over the weekend by falling off of a balcony.  They were in a hotel in San Antonio when it happened.  He was not a drinker at all and I don't think my mom knows the details of how he fell.  He left behind his wife and 4 children - so heartbreaking.  What a coincidence that two accidents like that happened so close together.

    oh my goodness, what a tragic story!  Hearing things like that really does make you examine the way you treat your loved ones, and of course makes me all the more paranoid about safety.  I heard a heartbreaking story about a child last week that just had me in tears, and I think I'll never, ever be able to let my boys play out of my sight.  Ever.
