I stopped BCP's in October. I am not trying to get pregnant but my husband and I are using a fairly loose BC method - the pull out method. My last 4 cycles have been 27, 28, 28 and 29 days long. This cycle, I am now on day 40 with no AF in sight. I took a test on day 34 and day 36 and got BFN's. I have seen a lot of people say that their cycles got crazy after BCP's so my questions is how long would you wait to call the doc? Is it safe to just relax and assume that this is my body adjusting to not having the BCP? Btw, I know that people suggest that stress can make this happen but I really, really don't feel that that can possibly be the problem. TIA

Ditto!
Eh?
Well while I wouldn't call that a BC method, she seems to know she can get pregnant doing it. That's better than my friend who thought her and her boyfriend were totally safe doing it.

Yes, as I said, it is a "loose" method. I know that we are taking a risk but we are not trying to get pregnant.
If you're not charting, there's no way to know when/if you ovulated, and no way to know if you are "late."
