daycare & diahrrea

can your LO attend daycare if they have diahrrea?  I haven't had to deal w this yet & I'm wondering if I'll need to stay home tommrrow if DD isn't feeling any better.  She seems fine except for that.  What is your daycare's policy?

    My daycare says they need to stay home. ?Last month, DD had it really bad for about 3-4 days and I had to stay home with her. ?Hope your DD feels better soon.

    they will send any child home who has 2 runny poops while at daycare.

    If DS is clearly sick with diarrhea i would never send him in- but if i think he has it b/c of food he ate - i'll feed him some rice cereal and bananas for breakfast and hope he doesn't have 2 runny ones at school :)

    I'm a little worried about tomorrow actually - b/c on Friday/Sat he was very constipated and complaining of boo boos in his belly (gas pains i'm sure)... so today we gave him oatmeal that has added fiber and WOAH it worked WAY too well - poor thing was farting and pooping up a storm by this afternoon... praying it goes away before tomorrow! lol

    like pp, they send then home after 2 runny poops and they have to have one solid poop before they can return (& be 24 hours later)
