we tried similac advance...nestle goodstart and then just to see we tried Enfamil Lactose free. Um....tah dah...NEW BABY! It's worth a shot. The next step was the allementum, but thank goodness we didn't need to go there. Too expensive!
I can't help you with the formula suggestion, but for colic maybe try using a probiotic. We're using BioGaia, the Walmart pharmacy was able to order it for us. My son had major episodes of gas, upset stomach, and just crying for hours sometimes. The pedi suggested we try the probiotic it's the only thing that has been studied and worked to an extent on colic. Within a week we've seen a big difference, he seems to be a lot more content and happier.
