tummy time turn-around!

I've been putting Allison down on her belly on a blanket with toys in an arch around her for play time.  She just did a 360 degree pivot to spend a little time on each toy.  She just spent 20 minutes on her tummy before deciding she was tired and rolling over to her back!!

So, have hope moms of babies who hate tummy time!  Allison screamed during every tummy time session for the first 4 months of her life and now look at her!  One day soon your child, too, will be a belly baby!  I swear this happened over night.

    Babies are so funny like that! They absolutely hate something one day and the next they're in love with that. I think all babies are very bi-polar lol.

    This is what J5 did too!  As soon as he could actually play with toys on his tummy he didn't care at all about being there.  A few weeks ago I timed him and he stayed on his tummy for 45 minutes!  He was all over the place during that time, rotating around and pulling the blanket to get stuff that was out of reach...  I think they realize that if they ever want to get anywhere, they need to spend some on their tummy.  :)

    Omigosh, thanks for this! It is so encouraging. I feel like the meanest mommy ever when I force Leo to do tummy time... nice to hear he may actually like it one day!
