What I'm curious about is what came first? The post about how no one remembers or usually bothers to read the newb intro posts, or all of the intro posts?

I think it was more of a sandwhich effect. There were intros, the post about how no one cares about intros, and that was followed by more intros. Which people don't care about. I guess. Huh?

Well, in their defense(yes I am defending newbs, and no I have not been drinking), for all the people who said they don't care about intros, there are just as many who give the standard "Who are you?" when a newb posts withOUT doing an intro first. I just saw it the other day.

But, there are still too many popping up tonight. It's like acne or something.

Its a catch 22. We don't remember with the intros, then they will get a BFP, they get accused of being a drive-by, they defend themselves with the standard "But I did an intro 2 days ago" and so it goes.

I know that I am still a newb myself, but that, my dear ABC, was the funniest thing I have heard all week! I had to come out of lurkdom say I am LMAO.

It seems like it's all relative sometimes...with so many regulars not coming on on weekends it is like newb overload simply because there are fewer regs. However, if this were a weekday we'd have a lower proportion of newbs around b/c all the regs would be here. OK, that's about the most I can handle math on the weekends.
