what lotion for excema?

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

ds has a red rashy patch on his leg that looks like excema.. any advice on how to heal it quick? tia

ps- i only use fragrance free detergent, i use aveeno lotion and wash, but yesterday (before the rash appeared) i used sun screen.  he gets a bath every other night and is always covered in lotion...

    We use Cetaphil (or the generic of it) for bath wash, pat dry and then slather his whole body in aquaphor every night before bed.

    Eucerin in the tub is nice and thick and helped DS' skin.  Cetaphil was the other one that was suggested.

    We bathed with Cetaphil and used Eucerin for lotion. It cleared up really quick for DS.

    we use Cetaphil after bath and Aquaphor for her bath and it has helped.

    Our doctor recommends hydrocortisone just to treat the outbreak, then Cetaphil body cream (not the lotion because lotions are water-based). It works great.

    I put Aveeno lotion on DD, and then once it's absorbed I slather Aquaphor on the spots of eczema.

    California Baby Lotion is the greatest. We also use their body wash & shampoo. It's fantastic.

    CeraVe moisturizer (not the lotion). ?You can get it at most pharmacies.Use it twice a day - especially after baths. ? And?Hydrocortisone?cream for the really bad flare ups. But no more than twice a day. Once a day if on the face. ?(per my Pedi). ?

    Backstory - I ?was in the airport last summer when a man approached me.He was actually a dermotologist (I later googled him and he really was a derm!) and he saw the flare ups on her legs and arms and talked to me about it. Supposedly this CeraVe cream repairs the eczema layers deep when most other creams (aquaphor, aveeno, etc) just treat the top layer.?

    I won't lie and tell you that this will solve all your problems. ?But it helped up immensely!?

    We also use California Baby (unscented) lotion and love it.  We bathe DD in plain, olive oil based castile soap.
