Washing infant seat cover?

I am doing my second round of baby laundry today.  Did y'all wash the infant carseat cover?

 

BabyFruit Ticker DS #1 Born 5/19/2009 Sunshine in my life! DS #2 Born 6/3/2011 at 26 weeks, 4 days; passed away 6.5 hours later Transabdominal cerclage placed 4/16/2012 BFP 6/20/12!!!

    I did because it's been in the basement for a year since DS got out of it. I didn't when it was brand new.

    I didn't because I figured the baby will have clothes on when he's in the seat and I'm sure I'll have to wash it soon enough.

    When ours was brand new we did not wash it.

    However, it's been sitting in storage for a couple of years now, so I washed the cover and the straps the other day. Good as new! ?

    Happily married Mom to 2 beautiful little girls, 2 dogs and 2 cats (all rescues), 2 fish and one 29 year-old firebelly newt.
    ~ Hoping to add to our family by adoption via Connecticut DCF. Application submitted on 2/4/14. First home visit on 6/23/14. Started class 11/17/14.~
