My hair has been painfully dry over the last couple of weeks, and nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any suggestions on a good shampoo and conditioner?

I use Lush squeaky green, but HAVE to condition with it. I'm normally a no conditioner kind of girl... my hair stays healthy by only washing it every other day. At the beginning of this pregnancy, I HAD to wash every day, but its calmed back down again so I can get by with every other day.

Pureology when I can afford it (aka, when I get my lazy butt to have my hairdresser aunt buy it for me cheap and drive to go see her) Otherwise the Pantene Pro-V Straight and Sleek still works great. My hair is getting a lot more tangled suddenly though, so if I brave the rain and run errands today I am going to buy some spray leave-in conditioner.
Matrix Sleek.Look is great, but my all time fave (as a hairdresser) is Kerastase Bain Satin 2 and Nutridefense (leave in spray or mask). Its expensive, but TOTALLY worth it. You only need a small amout. It's really concentrated, so a little goes a long way!

I use Bed Head Brunnette Goddess Shampoo and conditioner. My secret weapon is Moroccon Miracle Oil. You comb it in when your hair is wet and after about a week your hairs is shiny and silky.
I use regular johnson's baby shampoo and no conditioner. I was out one day and used DS's shampoo and it made my hair look better than what I had been using.

Re: Name your shampoo
My hair did the same thing. I had to trade out my AWESOME Aveda for 2 for $10.00 Dove.
I haven't had a dry hair problem since though. I hope Aveda works post-pregnancy.
BioSilk works great as well.
I use Tigi Bedhead Superstar
