DS father is starting to get on my nerves

We share DS 50/50. Lately he has been going OOT to work and I have DS all the time, which i love having him, but he doesn't let me know what's going on. I had to call him today and see when and what time he was going to drop him off. Then he just dropped him off. And when he did drop him off he didnt come to the door. It would be nice to know how mant weeks he is going to be gone. I feel like he is taking advantage of me. I don't care how long I have my son I just want to know the details. I am doing him a favor by making it easy on him and his girlfriend so he can just pick up and go work and not have to worry about who will take care of DS durning his weeks. Then I called him to ask and he doesn't answer. I really want to yell at him now.

    Huh, that is strange. Do you have a custody agreement in order? If so, I'd follow that. I'd try and talk to him about specifics. Will he have your son when you are close to being due? Maybe try emailing him??

    Sorry, that sounds frustrating. I have a DD (she's almost 5) from a previous relationship, but we live 2,000 miles away from her bio-father and we have no contact with him. Sometimes I think it is easier that way, even though he never paid 1 cent of child support and is a total deadbeat Dad.

    I would go back to family court and get some re-arrangement order for DS. Its more for DS' stablity than your's or the father of DS. Also I would keep track of these disruptions so that you can have proof when you do go back to family court.

    No we never had a court agreement. We just made this agreement ourselves and it's worked just fine for the last 8 years. We get along great and can talk about anything. I just dont understand wht he is being such a jerk right now. I just want to be included in "the loop". I am doing him a favor.
