Im a horrible friend..

My best friend was planning on coming out on Sunday for the day.  She lives in NYC without a car and we live in western NJ (about a hour + to get back and forth plus city traffic).  I would have to pick her up from the train station about 20 min away and drive her back.  Needless to say we dont see each other often.  I am SO exhausted,  I feel like I am getting sick - possibly just allergies, and my DH works 12 hr days so I rarely see him except on the weekends.  I just called her to tell her not to come.  I feel horrible, but I really cherish the weekends where it is just my husband and I.  I feel like such a bad friend. UGH vent over

    I bet if you took had a "girls day out"  you'd be glad you took the time with her. your husband lives with you, he isnt going any where, he'll be home when you get back. ^_^

    pick a day when DH has stuff to do also..maybe stuff around the house, stuff with a friend or yard work. You can spend the day with her and night with him. You arent a bad friend (speaking as someone who is actually your friend..i can honestly say this :-P) you are just sleep deprived and trying to juggle a lot of stuff.
