    And book 9 of the series comes out on Tuesday! I was reading some spoilers last night. It's gonna be great!

    ...speaking of the books, I am almost done with the first.  Where is Tara, her BFF? Did they make up her character for the show? Or does she show up later? No Amy either, the chick Jason hooked up...

    Tara shows up in the second book, I think they expanded her character in the show for comedic effect and to give Sookie someone to talk to since she does not narrate the show.  We are only like 3 episodes into True Blood. We are considering getting HBO before season 2 starts.

    Oh good! I figured she was too big of a character to just make up.  I like her, I can't wait to read the next book.
