You can find out the amount of your voucher, purchase a crib and once you receive the voucher get reimbursed. They explained taht in the packet I received. Call Babies R Us too, I know a few people that did it that way.
It's a Jardine crib. I saw a post here about "more" Jardine cribs being recalled, so I googled it. Ours is on the list.
I guess she could sleep in the pack-n-play. She's done that when we traveled and did OK. Cosleeping will NOT be an option -- I'll be getting up in the night soon to nurse twins.
When ours was recalled, I ordered the crib, paid by credit card, and then I was reimbursed when the voucher arrived. DD did have to sleep in the pack and play for a few nights waiting for the crib to arrive.
Our Jardine crib was recalled last summer. ?I checked with BRU first to make sure this would work, but we went ahead and purchased the new crib and waited for it to come in before dismantling the old one. ? Once the voucher came in, I took it back to BRU and got a refund for the amount of the voucher. ?I ended up spending more on the new crib than the voucher was worth, because there was no way I was buying another Jardine crib. ?It seemed like that was still the majority of their selection.
If you can cover the cost of the new crib for a month or so, this is definitely what I'd do. ?My son does not sleep well in the pack 'n play, so I didn't want that to be his bed for weeks at a time.?

Good Luck.
