Drs Apt next week and progesterone test ?

I called my Dr. thinking he would just ask me to set up an apt for a few months (which I would cancel if I had conceived by then), but after talking he said I could come in for a consult. ?

I guess having had a LEEP (w/pre-op changes reaching IV), hypothyroidism, cp/mc, and shorter-side LPs...it's at least worth a consult.

Well, I most likely will have O'd by then, so I have a question for anyone who's been tested. ?What's the normal CD to check P levels? ?I googled briefly and I guess I am typing the wrong thing into the search bar b/c I got varying results. ?Any input is appreciated. ?TIA.?

FYI (for those who don't know): off bc since 11/07, charting on FF for 6 cycles, TTC 7 mo. ?Tried charting bf TTC on paper (thebump) and failed miserably...?

    I had my progesterone tested a couple of times.  They didn't really ask me what CD I was on when it was tested, but it was CD7.  I had it tested near the end of my cycle too.

    As for a specific cd, I don't know.  Good luck though!

    I just had that done and my doc does that at CD21 regardless.  I would think later in your cycle is when it needs to be done to check properly... but that's just me.  I am no doctor.  :)

    I was curious b/c there have been several posts on here about Drs just willy nilly testing on "cd21" for example. ?I believe you have to be your own advocate, and was hoping to educate myself on the subject before going in. ?For someone like me who has had cycles as short as 23 days, CD 21 might be a lil' rediculous. ?Anyway, thanks for the info.
