Anyone fly with SW recently? Did they change their ticketing system?
The last time I flew on SW was about a year or two ago. I remember that you need to check in online 24 hours before your flight, and you print out a ticket. The ticket will indicate if you are in group A, B, C, and based on that, that's the order you board.
I noticed in my email that it now says "ticketless," and I don't see anywhere where it tells you to check in online 24 hours prior to the flight.
Has this changed? Or do we still check in online as before, and print out the tickets at home?
Re: NGPR: Southwest Airlines
I flew to Vegas on Southwest and had the same 'ticketless' option.
In my case, it meant they oversold the flight and were trying to find someone to give up their ticket so I could get on. Luckily, they were successful.
Also, not sure if this is new, but seating is not assigned. It is first come first serve, so if you are in the back of the line, be prepared not to get to sit with whoever you're with.
