Jack is almost 11 months old and refuses to hold his own bottle. He's GREAT with a sippy ... but will NOT hold his bottle. Not sure if he can't (the Avent bottles are pretty thick around) or if he just won't do it. I'm wondering if I should try doing formula in a sippy??
Any suggestions?
Oh, and I had a GREAT milkshake last night, lol.
Re: Whose kid isn't holding their own bottle?
Unfortunately Robbie won't let us hold his bottle anymore
He gets soooo mad if I even touch it! It makes me sad that my little guy is getting so big and independent.
I do know a few other babies who use Avent bottles that don't hold them. I think the wideness might have something to do with it.
What's for Dinner?
Nope. ?He CAN he just WON'T. ?And he hasn't figure out he has to tilt it back (hasn't figure that out with the sippy yet either).
Where was the milkshake from? And thanks...now I want one. ?;)
Spider Pig won't hold his own bottle.
He also doesn't try to grab the spoon away from me at meal times, either.
When he wants more, he opens his mouth and looks at me as if to say "Woman, what's your problem? Put the damn food in my mouth!"

DS never did--he knew how, but refused to. He much preferred to have us hold his bottles. He wouldn't drink formula from the sippy either. We were just stuck holding his bottles for him.

She does sippy's fine and even tips it up. She can hold her own bottle but only if it's mostly empty and she doesn't tip it for some reason.
