So the other day a new feature to my tabbed browsing showed up: whenever I click to open a new tab, a new feature from google toolbar shows up displaying screen captures of all of our most frequently visited sites. And it's not just a standard homepage, it actually displays, in miniature, the actual pages we were looking at- so my gmail inbox, and of course the bump. I think this is creepy, and if I have friends or family using my computer I don't necessarily want them to see that the bump is one of my most frequently viewed sites! You can x-out the pictures but they show up again next time, does anyone know how to get rid of this feature?
Re: ngpr: creepy google toolbar thing
I figured it out!!
Click on the little wrench icon at the top right hand corner of your screen, click on "search" and then you can turn it off by clicking on "enable the new google tab page."
