At that age I would put the bouncy chair in the bathroom- or if he was sleeping (which was rare) I would roll the bassinett into the bathroom while I showered.
I try to do it all while she's sleeping, or when DH is home to watch her. I take the monitor with me. If she's in a good mood, I'll go to the bathroom while she plays in her crib or PNP for a minute.
Bouncy chair... it keeps me clean (and sane... I showers).
Not sure what I'll do when he's mobile... Maybe shower w/ him or shower before DH.

Well, usually there is someone there to watch them, but otherwise I feel safe leaving them in their swing (properly strapped in of course) for several minutes.
I am not ashamed (I am totally ashamed) to admit that when I shower I pull Lilly's bouncy seat up to the TV and turn on Noggn. She is happy as can be and I can take a whole shower, uninterrupted!
We still have the bouncy seat in the bathroom and DD is over 7 months old. She is very mobile but she doesn't usually mind a few minutes of sit-still time while I shower. I usually give her a toy to play with and I play peek-a-boo with her if she gets fussy. We have the swing set up in our bedroom and I move her to that while I get dressed. She loves to watch me!
BUT if he isn't..I used to put her in the bouncer. She's too big for it now so I've been putting her in the PnP with a few toys and putting it outside the bathroom door so she can hear my voice. So far so good.
now that he's crawling and playing more independently I just close the door to our bedroom and let him play. We have his play mat in there. He's totally fine and there's nothing he can get into that will hurt him. He hates the bouncy seat now so that's not an option.
In the beginning- the bouncy chair which I brought into the bathroom. Sometimes I left him in the swing/crib.I brought the monitor in the bathroom too!
Now that I am working I shower before he wakes up.
I shower when he naps in the morning, and just take the monitor into the bathroom with me. ?I put him in his bouncy chair or crib when I go to the bathroom.
bouncy seat! He will sit in the bouncy seat for at least a half hour in the morning. He loves to listen to the music and he really likes the sound of the water. If I have to go to the bathroom and he is awake, I will put him in his swing, crib, pnp, etc for a minute.
usually bouncy seat, floor or bed in my room. Sometimes bouncy in the bathroom but not lately. She's 4 mos not rolling so I don't worry about her going anywhere. She's easy going as long as she's been fed.

I usually wait until DH is home.

2 beautiful children
proud mommy!
I had the bassient in the master bedroom, and I would lay him in their if running to the bathroom, or if he was awake, the bouncey set.
Sometimes crib, and turn the mobile on....and pray you are done before the mobile stops!

At your baby's age, I would put Sophia in the bouncy seat on the bathroom floor when I showered and in the bassinet/PNP when I went to the bathroom.
Now, at 9 months, I put her in the crib when I shower and usually in the jumperoo or PNP when I go to the bathroom.
*Travel Swing
*Activity Mat
*Boppy
All in the bathroom w/me
