DD's First Black Eye

We were at a friend's house yesterday afternoon and she tripped over the edge of their rug and crashed into the coffee table.  Her cry was just miserable; you could tell it hurt pretty bad.  It started bruising almost immediately, but had faded a little by the time we put her to bed last night.  Of course, she wakes up this morning with a black eye.  Poor baby! I feel so bad.
