CD? Flushable Liners

We just had our first peanut butter poo as a result of starting solids and I was almost sick while scraping it off into the toilet.  Time for flushable liners!  Which do you like best?  I saw Imse Vimse and Bummis on Jillians Drawers.

Re: CD? Flushable Liners

  • I ended up going with the silk liners because the reviews of the disposable liners were not that great.  I did get a sprayer, which I love!

  • I like the imse ones, longer for more coverage. I do not flush them, we have a septic tank, and the ones that are just wet, I wash with my diapers and reuse until they start to disintegrate.

  • Thanks!

  • No flushing liners!!!!!

Your pipes (and the citys sewer system) are not equipped to handle them (or pads, or cat litter).  You will eventually, probably, get a clog.  If its just in your toilet, fine.  But it will likely be in the pipes in the middle of your yard, which will require a plumber to dig up the pipe, find the clog, and replace it.  Very very $$$$.

Nothing should down the toilet but human waste and T.P.  At that, even some T.P. (think charmin extra soft) causes clogs.

  • I agree with not flushing any liners!  I know the toilets we have in our house could NOT handle that.  We've had enough issues with TP alone.

But no other advice.  We're not there yet.  Sorry! :)
