I don't have any details yet, but my grandpa went to the ER twice last night (I guess the 1st time they couldn't find anything and sent him home with pain meds, but my grandma knew something was wrong)...and now I guess he's having surgery today or tomorrow after his 2nd trip to the ER ended in a CAT scan that showed something weird I don't understand.

My grandpa hadn't been feeling great for probably at least 6 months to a year and has been seeing every doctor on the planet trying to find out why. I'm not sure if this is related. I have no sense for how serious this is because there are so many unanswered questions still. Generally he is in excellent shape (he could outrun me - runs and bikes several miles a day) but still.
