QOD: Do you believe in ghosts or spirits?

I really don't know how to answer my own question. I have never had any ghostly experiences myself, so I can't say I KNOW they are out there but I think maybe the dead have a way of communicating with us in their own way.

Yes I do believe, I have to say that I didn't but after my mom died I started, I have always felt her presence when I needed her.

QOTD: Yes I do. I am still unsure of exactly to what extent I believe in certain things, but I have encountered a lot of "unexplainable" things as well and can't really deny the presence of spirits in some sense.

I absolutely believe. I went to a local popular psychic after my parents died and heard some eerie things about my grandparents, etc. I didn't know they were actually eerie though until I relayed the session to my sister since I was little when they died. I definitely think my parents are with me too when I need them.

I do believe. Too many things that can't be explained, and I have to believe the human spirit is strong enough to find a way to live on in some way.

I believe in spirits, but not not necessarily ghosts. I think people's souls live on after their body is gone, but I don't think they hang around earth haunting people or places.

I don't know. I mean I think there are but I dont like to think about that. And I do like to believe that DH mom can see him . I guess I like the thought of family members being able to see that we are doing good but I don't like the thought of bad spirits, you know?

I don't believe in ghosts or spirits. I do believe in angels & demons though. I believe most people's encounters with "ghosts" are actually demons - friendly as some of them may supposedly seem to be. Yes I've had encounters off & on for the majority of my life. My lil sis & bro have too but much less often than me. I won't go into detail why I think this is but suffice it to say that my mom made some bad decisions when she was a teenager & it seems to have been carried into our lives. I hate them & wish that it would go away for good. As a result, I don't watch any type of TV or movies or do anything else having to do with the occult.

Things seem to be better since we moved to TX a few months ago - so far - but I never know when something will happen again. I just don't want this to continue with my children.

I do believe. I also believe sprits can communicate with us through signs. For example - a year ago last christmas my IL's brought us a plant. I told my FIL that we kill plants. He told he not to kill this one becuase it was a peace lily he had divided and that is was from PawPaw (DH's grandpa's) funeral which was in 1996. We kept it alive and the day we came home from the hospital after Wyatt was born it blumed. We took that as a sign that PawPaw got Wyatt and was going to take care of him in heaven for us. Wyatt's middle name George is after PawPaw.

Yes i do! My friend and I did some "ghost hunting" in college. After that night I really started to believe. I t was crazy and scary at the same time!
