OPK-Do they really work?

Only my second post so here goes.  I got some really great answers from the Babies on the Brain board with my first question, so I figured I take a shot here!

My husband and I just started trying to concieve, we purchased a CBE OPK, and I was wondering if anyone had any luck with using an OPK?  It seems pretty simple to use, I was just wondering how accurate it is, and if anyone got pg after it precited ovualtion?

    I bought cheap ones off of early-pregnancy-tests.com and they worked for me.

    CBE is what I used this cycle b/c I hated having to try to read lines, and they worked great for me. You can see on my chart I got 2 +OPKs with them when my body & FF told me I O'd. And I like that you can use FMU for them too.

    Yes, they do work really well. However, it might take a month or so to figure out when your peak is. Do not use FMU. Some people get their +OPKs in the last morning. For me, it's always been in the late afternoon. Don't drink too much water and make sure to hold it for 4 hours or more. GL

    I used opk's for 3 cycles and they didn't work for me! Everyone is different.

    Same here.  They work just fine for me.  I usually get at least one + OPK every cycle.

    they work fairly well for me. but i have been using the First Response ones since they're a bit cheaper--and they're a little harder to read. GL!
