From TTC to TTA...eeeeek

So, as anyone who didn't get KU within a couple months of TTC, you can understand that you start to get a little nervous that you are going to end up at the RE (even knowing the stats).

Well, to add a little pressure being on my 7th cycle (6 charting on FF), my BIL is getting married most likely end of May 2010. ?IN THE DOMINICAN. ?

I really don't want to miss the wedding b/c I'm IN LOVE w/my BIL and soon to be SIL...but...if I'm not pg by July, I think I'm going to have to TTA to avoid a) getting wheeled out of the hospital, and getting on a plane, ahaha b) waddling onto a plane to a foreign country w/a huge belly. ?

Boooooooo?

    I'm sorry... Hopefully you'll get KU this cycle and won't have to worry about that.  I can totally relate though about starting to freak out... we started TTC in October 2008 and I'm already worried there is something wrong with me.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    my sil is getting married nov 09 in Mexico and if I have to waddle I will...:)  but dh and I were thinking the same thing earlier this year...

    I feel like I would feel the same way, b/c I can't imagine TTA. ?But, Sometimes it's just not practical. ?DH will obviously be in the wedding, and I know he won't go if we're about to have a child anyday...Hopefully I just don't have to worry about it.?

    We have been trying since October as well.  Even though you know the time frame for most healthy couples, it is hard not to worry that something is wrong each month you get the BFN.

    I'm in the same boat.  My brother is getting married next April and I really don't want to be due around the wedding.  So if this cycle doesn't work out, we will try next month (cycle #8) and then TTA for 2 cycles. Sucks because I don't want to "waste" two months by not trying... but its more important to me to be there for my bro's wedding.  It will definitely be weird to TTA after all this TTC.

    Oh i know how you feel. If we dont get KU this cycle we are going to be TTA until atleast October. Im am going to have surgery in July and apparently you can't do that pregnant. BOO. Hang in there. Hopefully you will get KU before then and you won't even need to worry about this! :)

    I completely understand.  If we don't get KU this summer, we'll have to TTA until June 2010 because I have WAY too many travel commitments for work between March-November 2010.  I really, really hope we don't have to go there!

    It's weird because it never even dawned on me, and then just popped in my head.  I was thinking about it, and I'm sure we might change our minds.  But, looks like we would TTA from late July to October!!! Ugh.

    Same to you!  I mean honestly though, lifes about choices right?  And you can't have it all...so, I guess in the end, we can't just hope it doesn't come to that.  But, if it does we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
