would you bring a gift?

DH Aunt is turning 50 this weekend.  Another aunt is hosting a suprise women of the family only party.  Would you bring a gift?  If so what?

I was thinking of buying a box of DeBrand truffles if anything.

    i'd say definitely not necessary but a box of truffles sounds perfect if you want to be the extra-thoughtful person. should get you some points :)

    Before reading the whole post, I was going to suggest a bottle of wine to enjoy at the party or for her to take home, if she is a wine drinker. I don't think you necessarily have to take anything though.
