Seriously, can we just ditch the damn stars altogether? I really don't care how many stars someone gives my post, and I figure that anyone who feels strongly one way or another will let me know by responding. Also, I don't judge the quality of other posts based on the stupid stars. A rating system is unnecessary, and I am frankly tired of discussing who is the idiot that keeps givein one or two stars. Also, I think it's highly inappropriate for that option to be available when some of our conversations are about emotional subjects like miscarriages and sick parents.
So, how about it? Can we trade the rating system for a little blockage? Huh?

Totally agree.
Plus, the stars don't mean anything because you have to open the post to see them anyways so it's not like you could just read posts that looked interesting based on the number of stars.
