  I like Cadence, but I don't like the spelling of Kaydence.  If you can't tell, I'm not a fan of gratuitous letter changing

  Not a fan. Cadence is a musical term, and I am not particularly a fan of that as a name either, but at least that way it is spelled like the term.

  I'm with Bethany on this one.  the whole making up spellings of names is ridiculous to me.

  I don't like Cadence, and I'm with everyone on the spelling thing.  I would hate to imagine my child having to spell their name for everyone the rest of their lives.

  Can I please tell you that my name is Gini (but pronounced Jenny) and I have had to spell my name for people my whole life.  I even considered changing it... I was called Guinea at my high school graduation.  Please stray from unnecessary spellings, for your kid's sake.

  The name Cadence or Kadence is okay..not really my style but it's not a bad name.  But I will say (and this is the teacher in me) that if you spell it "uniquely" then the child will spend it's life having to spell it's name over and over.  Of course you are free to do what you want...because it's your child...but that is just some friendly advice.
