Baby neck folds....

What do you put on them when they get red? I have a call in to the pedi nurse, but wanted to know what you all do. DD's neck on one side is pretty red. I try to clean in there when bathing, but she's so squirmy in there that I guess I don't get it good enough, or else I don't dry it well enough after her bath and the combination of damp skin and rubbing together is making it red.

You definitely have to get in there with a dry towel and keep is as dry as possible. I use Aquaphor and Desitin.

DD's diaper cream (Butt Paste) clears it right up.

i wipe dd's neck folds all day long. ?they seem to get better after i bathe her so i have been bathing every other day

i hate Aquaphor and it just doesn't seem to work for me. it's so greasy-yuck. i've used Desitin, or cornstarch powder to help dry it out. (not talcum powder...) it is definitely hard to get that area dry...
