I'm on it. And I'm not sure I would call it a "weird phenomenon". It actually has a lot of business and social implications and it's really quite interesting to see how various business models are exploiting it and changing the process daily. It's a lot more organic than FB, IMO.

I too am signed up on twitter.... My older sister got me hooked on it. I was one of those people who would want to tell a bunch of people all at once the same thing, so now I just send it to twitter and it does that for me. My other sister makes fun of us and my husband always come into the room saying "hunny twitter is messaging you..." He sometimes read my messages and forgets to tell me about it and knows stuff thats going on in my family before I do! It think it is great
Dang. I just came up with something like that my work doesn't allow anything like that. That's how people left me alone for not having facebook, myspace, twitter, and whatever else there is out there... Bumping is the most I've ever done...

I hate that crap. Those people who update everyone on the mundane details of their lives on FB drive me nuts. "I'm at starbucks" "i'm in a meetting" "I'm driving" I don't give a sh*t what you are doing unless it is mildly amusing or important.

Ditto this... most people just don't get it and how it applies to business, as well as entertainment and socialization, which is totally fine by me.
Facebook status is more information than I want to know about most of my friends! I can see following a celebrity or news channel but a regular person? No one is that interesting.
Re: CRAP....one of my friends is tweeting
I hate hearing about it all the time. ?The stupid "twitterviews" on morning TV and "tweet" and "twat" all the time during shows. ?It's irritating! ?
Don't do it...step away from the Twitter.
This.
I thought twat was something totally unrelated. LOL
I also haven't heard anyone use the word twat when referring to twitter.
I don't have facebook and I am THIS close to deleting myspace. It just doesn't interest me anymore, if it ever did...
I thought someone said it on E! the other day as a past tense twit...maybe I was wrong. ?Now that I'm thinking about it, it seems wrong.
lol
