what have you tried to give you shorter cycles

for those with long cycles, what have you to tried successfully to shorten your cycles?  I realize everyone is different & what works for one will not necessarily work for another.  However, I'm very curious if anyone has had luck w/ natural remedies to shorter your cycles.

    VITEX! Last cycle I didn't chart but it was 32 days. This cycle is the 2nd cycle I am using and I am 11 dpo.

    Vitex and diet adjustment. Soy Isoflavones did not work for me.

    Metformin and clomid.  It did the trick.

    How long have you been taking it?  I've read I shouldn't take vitex along with clomid, so I don't know if I should take the clomid or try vitex.

    Personally, I wanted to try the natural way first and it worked twice. You are right - you are not suppose to take Vitex along with Chlomid. I am taking it this cycle and when I start Chlomid, I will discontinue. You can take Vitex after you O to help lengthen LP and help you produce progesterone (my issue).

    I am not exactly sure how if these work for shortening cycles but my ND had me take these when I first started seeing her. They are supposed to regulate your cycles. They are 4 different types of tiny white globs you put into mouth under your tongue to disolve: hypophysinum (CD1-6), folliculinum(CD7-13), ovarinum(CD14-20), and lutenium(CD21-end). (Lutenium helped me increase the follicle size), I'm not sure if I have spelled them all correctly. HTH!

    Started Vitex a couple weeks ago... and it looks like it helped me finally O! 

    *The last time I O'ed it was like cd60ish, so this is actually an improvement

    tried vitex, didnt really do anything for me. acupuncture along with herbs did the trick.
