Trying to Get Pregnant

I'm having trouble with my CM...

I can't freakin decide if it's creamy or wet or sticky or what. I need to go back to beginner's lessons. Does it mean anything if there is a ton of creamy? I feel like I'm displaying signs of all of the types.

Re: I'm having trouble with my CM...

  • I'm seriously just now getting confident. ?If it's not stretchy, but clear, I go w/ watery. ?If it's like lotion or milk=creamy...if I feel a little tension when I try to pull my fingers apart to see if it's stretchy, then I go w/sticky. ?Don't know if that helps...

  • I think the reason I'm confused is because there's so much. Usually with creamy it's just a bit, but I seriously feel like I'm gushing here. Sorry tmi.

You just helped me too. Thanks!

  • If it's crumbly/pasty that would be sticky.  White and lotiony is creamy.  Clear and runny is watery.  And stretchy (clear, yellow or white) is EWCM.  It is possible to have more than one type per day.  For example...sticky and creamy or watery and EWCM.  For charting purposes I also note the one that is most fertile.  HTH!

OK, sorry...jumping in here.  So what happens when it is stretchy, but you are nowhere near your fertile time?  For example, I had stretchy CM on cycle day 8 or 9.  Clearly by temps and a variety of other signs, I was not fertile.  Is it common to get EWCM at other times of the month?

You can have EWCM at any time during your cycle including way before or even after O.  You should note it on your chart...you may notice a pattern after a few cycles or not.  GL!
