Made An RE Appt.

I called and made an appt. with the RE whose name my Ob/gyn gave me. I could have gotten in as early as next week, but I made the appt. for the beginning of July.

I'm at the beginning of cycle #10 now, but we've already had the standard testing (I ovulate, b/w, u/s, HSG and SA has all come back normal). So, I think the RE would want to jump into either more complex testing or treatment, and I reasoned that I could wait until the 1 year mark for that (although that would technically be the beginning of cycle #12) since I already have a head start on some of it.

I'm a little torn - I'm anxious to see what he would have to say, but I also feel like since we've had the initial testing maybe I should give it a couple more cycles of trying before going to an RE.

So you have absolutely normal cycles, ovulate, DH's sperm is fine but your just not getting pg? Am I getting this right? No PCOS or anything like that?

Just go with your gut. They probably won't jump into something drastic until you're ready. After the initial consult, they may want to even redo some of your previous tests.

I'm not over 35 - but I had b/w because of Hypothyroidism. At that point the Dr. suggested getting an HSG and SA, but I put it off for several months and just finished completing those tests.
