Update on Cancelled IVF Cycle

So after canceling our IVF #1 on Monday due to suppression issues with the Lupron we went to the doctor this morning and we will be doing the antagonist protocol with Ganirelix.  I need to be on BCP for two weeks and then they will do an ultrasound and E2 level check and see if we are good to finally start stimming.

He had no idea why I reacted the way I did to the Lupron but at least we have a plan.  I am also taking a higher dose BCP to hopefully turn my ovaries off.  If I only need to be on BCP for 2 weeks I will make this cycle cut-off so I hope it works!

    So sorry you had to go through this.  Fingers crossed the extra strong BCPs work and you make the cut off.  Good luck!!

    It stinks to find out our bodies don't like one med or the other, ugh! Good luck with the antagonist protocol, I like that one better anyway :)
