An inordinate amount of time....

hanging out in the loo has me wondering about how people towel off and get dressed.

I use one towel only, dry myself starting at my feet, and work my way up, wrapping in on my hair as the last stop.

Then I get dressed, no robe in between for me. Same sequence every day.

What about you? One towel or two? Robe? No robe?

one towl, but I start from my head and go down. if you start from the bottom up, you just drip on youself.

then i put on my robe and take the dogs out. i take my robe off to blow dry my hair because I get so damn hot. getting dressed is the last step before I leave the house.

Good question, Cathy....for me, it is two towels: one for my body, and one to bundle my hair up in. I wrap my hair up first, and then start toweling my body from the top down. After that, I go straight into a T-shirt and PJ's again. No robes, it is too hot here to snuggle up in one of those.

I dry myself with one towel starting from the head down. Then I put a robe on and get dressed in our bedroom.

I used to be a two towel girl, but now I'm a towel and a robe. I start in the middle, then do my legs and arms, and then wrap my head and robe up.

Im the same as you Cathy. Only one towel, from bottom up. I have a robe but not a a terry one so it doesnt absorb. Sometimes I put the robe on to dry my hair but usually I just get too hot and sweaty so I go sans.

Two towels, one to wrap my hair the other to dry myself. I then moisturize and change into sweats or comfy pj pants to wear while I do my hair/makeup/brush my teeth etc. Getting dressed is the last thing I do before I leave the house - I like to stay in my comfy clothes as long as I can!

One towel, head to toe. I then wrap my hair while I put on my face lotion but then take it out when it's time to brush my hair and let it air dry some. I put on a robe, but I also cannot dry my hair with my robe on because I get too hot. I get dressed as the very last thing I do before I make my travel mug of coffee and go to work.

I use two towels, one for hair, one for body. My hair is pretty long so it needs its own towel. I usually get dressed after drying off. On weekends or when I am getting ready for a special occasion I will usually towel off and then use a robe while getting ready.

Two towels, one for hair which I always wrap up first. Then another for the rest of me. I guess I usually start at my face and neck and work down to me feet, then I get in a robe to finish getting ready, blow drying my hair etc, then I get dressed.

For me it is one towel and I dry top to bottom. No robe for me either. Then I will pull my hair up on top of my head with a hair tie to keep it off my neck, throw on some basketball shorts and a tank while doing makeup. Then I will get dressed and do my hair last.

One towel or 2 cats which ever is handy. I start in the middle and work my way down to my feet then up to my head. Wrap towel around me, go to laundry room to get clean clothes--I really should just make it our closet. Get dressed.

I used to use 2 towels but now I just use one. I start by drying off my feet and legs, then arms and the rest of the body and when I'm dry I put that towel in my head. After that I put lotion to my body and face. If I'm going to blow dry my hair I do it naked b/c I get too hot if not then I get dress.

One towel, wrap around the body, then dry the hair a bit, then top to bottom and back to the hair. Sometimes a robe, sometimes just nekkid. Do my hair and makeup, then get dressed. I'm with Monkey, I get way too hot when blow drying my hair if I have a robe and/or clothes on.

One towel and start at my head/face and work my way down they wrapping the towel around my head while I blow my nose and clean/dry my ears with q-tips. No robe, I just go straight to my clothes. Pants and bra and no shirt until I'm ready to walk out the door. I do the same sequence everyday.

One towel to the face in the shower working my way down and stepping out after I dry each foot. Towel is temporarily wrapped around body while I brush my teeth and then moved up to wrap around my hair while I get dressed. No robe for me!

I use one towel and go from feet to head, catching the drips from my hair as I go. Then I wrap my hair up. Then I lotion. I usually stay naked while I'm getting ready unless it's REALLY cold (I bring my clothes into the bathroom, so its usually still warm from my shower.) in which case I use a robe.

If I'm not going anywhere I'll put on my robe and sit around the house in just that all day.

I don't wash my hair everyday. So when I do wash my hair I used my body towel from the day before to dry my hair and then use a fresh towel for my body. Then I used the hair towel to drape in the sink so that I can use it for place to hold my hair dryer, brush and styling supplies.

I use one towel. I squeeze the water out of my hair then start drying from the bottom up. When I am finished I wrap my hair in the towel.

I put on a robe while I am applying makeup and blow drying my hair. After that I lotion up and get dressed.

First thing I do is wrap my hair in a smaller towel and then dry off from my feet up. No robe though unless that's what I'm putting on for some reason.
