I kinda liked being in the hospital after the c-section for many reasons.
#1) I was waited on constantly.
#2) The hospital had the best ice chips I've ever tasted.
#3) I was hopped up on pain meds.
#4) DH, my Mom, and my Dad would bring me food from anywhere I wanted.
#5) I knew that my babies were in good hands and getting awesome care in the nursery.
#6) I had new cute little babies and the newness of it was overwhelming in a great, great, great way!
#7) I didn't have to work, cook, clean, or do laundry!

HAHAHA Why was this?? I said this to DH and he told me I was nuts
I had a vaginal birth so the only pain meds I got was Motrin when I bugged the nurse for it, but otherwise I miss being in the hospital too. The whole birth process was wonderful for me, even the painful parts were all completely worth it. My OB was amazing, he even drove in to start the cervidil himself and wheeled me to my room from the exam room like a chauffer
When the internals were uncomfortable he would hold my hand and comfort me.
Lol, making DH go out and get me takeout from where ever I wanted was pretty cool too, and our hospital had room service from the cafeteria.
hahaha! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! Now if they could just make the beds more comfortable. Oh and mine had the best milk shakes...I had two the first day due to my liquid diet.

Ditto. The hospital experience was great and all but I couldn't wait to get home.
Nope, I wasn't a big fan either. I didn't have a bad experience or anything it just wasn't as "pampering" as I guess I thought it would be. My hospital didn't have a nursery so the baby roomed with me- so not a whole lot sleeping going on. I had an uncomplicated vaginal delivery so I was discharged relatively quickly- delivered 7:30 on Tuesday night discharged by noon on Thursday. I wish I had more time to work with the LC before discharge. The food you had to order yourself from the cafeteria which sounds nice, kinda like room service, but I was so busy caring for the baby and nursing that I hardly had time to eat or remember to order.
