Friends of ours had a baby last week and I ordered a cookie bouquet to be delivered to their house on Monday. I never received delivery confirmation. Would it be rude to email my friend and ask if he got the cookies? I don't want to look like I'm fishing for a thank you or anything, but I'm genuinely worried that they never got them....

Re: Is this rude?
If you didn't want to seem rude, you could always call the company to find out if it were delivered...but I don't see a problem with calling the friend to find out.
I'd contact the company first.
As a new mom a call like that would have made me feel like crap for not having acknowledged the gift yet.?

this.
Ditto! And if the company can't tell you...I'd try and contact the husband to see.
Thanks! I was actually planning to email the husband, since he's techinically the one I'm friends with (not that I don't like her...well you know what I mean!). But I'll try the company first anyway!
I would not ask the new mother. that will only make her feel bad.
