Just wanted to get some opinions..... when did you switch from the infant carrier to the convertable car seat? ?I am not sure of if there is a "right time" to do this... thanks for your help!
We switched Teagan to a convertible carseat around 7/8 months. I got tired of taking her in and out of her infant carseat, and I was not about to lug around her heavy butt in the carrier either. I will probably do the same with Kelsey.
We switched DS at 4 months. His daddy has big shoulders and my son inherited them... He just simply grew out of the BabyTrend infant carrier we had... But I think they are smaller than some of the others, too.
I switched Carter a couple of weeks ago (a little after 4 months). I still use his infant seat once in a while, but he loves his convertable. He can see out the window and it just makes out lives happier.
We are switching tomorrow. We have a BRU coupon for 20% that expires tomorrow so we need to get moving! Max is just too big for his infant carrier, plus at 20 pounds plus the carrier weight, it's too much for me to carry!
There is a certain size that LO can be before you have to switch. Our carrier is good until 22lbs or 27 inches. DS is already 24 inches so we will have to switch pretty soon.
