DD has a runny nose but no other symptoms so my guess would be allergies since mine have just started acting up as well, but are babies that young usually affeced by seasonal allergies?
Our pedi said they can have seasonal allergies. Apparently there are differing opinions on this. Personally, I believe our pedi.
I believe your pedi too! I don't see how pollen cannot aggravate them.....it's a serious problem around here! But he definitely told me that the babies would have to live through 2 seasons of the allergens before they develop their own allergies. Who knows!
Don't know, but I asked my pedi about the possibility of our baby being allergic to our dog, and she said it wasn't possible that young. Not sure about seasonal allergies though. Hm, interesting..
Re: Runny nose...cold or allergies?
I was wondering about this cause DS sounds runny sometimes. Nothing actually comes out but when he breathes you can hear a "gurggle"

ds has a cough and a slight runny nose...I believe it is allergies bc it seems to act up when he is out in the pollen and not so bad inside...
So IMO I do think it could be allergies.
