Agreed. I also thought... I hope they wrote their contracts well regarding the money from the show. Otherwise, Kate will take him for everything.
I can blame him. Using a "b*tchy emmasculating wife" as an excuse for cheating is a cop out. If he was really that unhappy, he should have divorced her like a real man rather than sneaking around partying behind her back while she is probably at home with the kids.
What a tool. I hope she does take him for everything.
Agree. While I am ALL for partners treating each other respectfully in their marriage (which Kate does not), there are ways of getting out of an unhealthy relationship. Sneaking around isn't one of them.
It's the same thing w/ cheating boyfriends/girlfriends. I just don't get it. Break up, THEN go off w/ other folks.

Hell, she probably wasn't home with the kids either. She's never home. She's constantly off promoting her book, doing speaking engagements, going to the spa, getting botox, etc. Those kids are being raised by nannies now.
I don't feel remotely sorry at all for Kate if Jon is screwing around. You can't treat your husband like crap and expect him to stick around. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they both want out of the marriage but are sticking it out because of the show and the $$$ they make from it.

Just for the record- I am not justifying it either and I totally agree- if you are unhappy, get out and THEN start seeing someone else.
I just feel like since Jon doesn't really stand up to Kate, this was bound to happen because I can't see him telling her he wants to leave. And since Kate is so vindictive, she will probably take everything from him in return.
There have been all sorts of rumors that they weren't doing well. She wanted to come back for the next season of the show and Jon didn't. He is really tired of the whole thing.

My only comment is this: no wedding ring DOES NOT = cheater
My DH has never worn his wedding ring on a regular basis and he sure as shiit isn't a cheater.

Now that I visited the link, I'm not convinced he's cheating. ?The pictures just show him leaving a club drunk, obviously not super appropriate behavior for a father of 8 young children, but it's not like he's been spotted making out with this woman he's with. ? And it's UsWeekly. ?People, I'd believe, but Us is a little shaky on their facts imo.

I agree that he is not cheating. The mags definitely throw things way out of proportion. I think this is one of those things.

I thought the exact same thing.
Not to mention, yes, Kate is a b!tch. But, Jon is not exactly the model husband either. He generally acts like a total douchebag on the show and honestly, if I had 8 kids and him for a husband, I'm not sure how nice I would be. No, I don't feel sorry for her because this is the life she chose and she should be more respectful towards him, but it is not all one-sided, even though some times I feel like I'm the only person on earth who thinks Jon is an asshat (cheating or not).
My money is on him and Kate being seperated already. I think they are only holding out for the show.
None of us are perfect, but the show defnitely emphasizes their negative characteristics. She's a dominating b* and he's a a coward- going on a show and then travelling all the time to avoid each other wasn't going to improve anything.
I stopped watching that show because of the way that they treated each other and that I felt that they act greedy and are exploiting their kids for financial gain. It just seems really hypocritical to do all of this and still claim to be good Christians and ask people for donations in churches, which was part of their original schtick. I'm not saying that you have to be perfect if you claim to be Christian, but it annoys me because people like that (who do it all in the public eye) give Christians a bad name. And I kind of feel like people who do all of this in the public eye need to at least have enough sense to keep up the jig while OUT IN PUBLIC. I mean, that is, if you want people to keep buying what you are selling, KWIM?
Anyway, my point is that even if he wasn't cheating, WTF is he thinking getting tanked at a club at 2 a.m.?
